Cheney seeks Israeli help for Casus belli against Iran

Newsweek magazine has mooted the possibility that US Vice President Dick Cheney is pushing for Israel to strike at the nuclear sites at Natanz, Iran, ostensibly to stop the Iranians developing nuclear weapons, but in reality to provoke Iran to lash out at Israel militarily, thereby providing the casus belli for a major US attack on Iran. This plan has been making the rounds for a while, it does fit the original US Republican doctrine for bringing democracy to all countries of the Middle East.
