Hutton - Nuclear Power Stations Now
Yet more comical decision making from this increasingly bizarre government. After having his ear twisted by a few businessmen and some ill advised union leaders eager to make a quick buck and have future generations pay the bill, John Hutton, idiot in chief of the Business sector of this ridiculous government is deciding to plough £20 billion into building a raft of new nuclear power stations.
Mr Hutton, The UK is surrounded by tidal power. The pentland firth alone could produce 20% of the UK electricity needs using new tidal electricity generation techniques, not the old anti-environmental barrage way. But oh no, New Labour politicians are so keen to prostrate themselves at the feet of a few millionaire businessmen, donations anyone, so tons of plutonium waste is going to be dumped on this overcrowded island. And we all know what happened at Windscale when there was a major leak. Lies, lies, lies.
The UK is not France. The UK is an overcrowded island, unlike France, so there is little chance of error not cancering major parts of the population.
The UK government is more than daft if it goes ahead with a major nuclear power station program, but then again it went ahead with the Iraq war, leaving the sensible war in Afghanistan to go hang in the wind. Heaven help us from this Labour government.
