Iranians stirring up trouble in Iraq

One of the units in the Iran Revolutionary Guards most implicated in aiding terrorist activity in Iraq is the Quds force. The mission goal for the Quds (which means Jerusalem in Arabic) includes training  islamists to subvert foreign governments, so no surprise that they are all over the place particularly in Iraq.

Another Iranian officer smuggling IED’s into Iraq was arrested yesterday at his hotel in Sulaimaniyah. George W Bush may instigate financial sanctions against Iran and the Quds because of their terrorist activities. North Korea and Chinese arms suppliers must be rubbing their hands in prospect of more business.
