Lightweight Miliband refuses Iraq Inquiry

It really is too sad to see a British government afraid to allow an inquiry into the Iraq war because it is too ashamed and embarassed to hold one. And of course I mean a proper inquiry, not the disgraceful shams of mini so called inquiries already held, which will be written about with contempt by future historians.

This is a little Suez for Labour, having been driven out of Basra, tail between the legs, by militia forces. Will the current foreign secretary, David Miliband, epitomise accusations levelled against the current British government. Observers are beginning to associate this government with lightweight, vacuous, apparatchik controlled incompetence, with a sugar glaze of unreal spin.

The general election date is looming, already kicked into touch once but now coming into view. Will Gordon Brown’s government be able to shed rumours of empty, rudderless internal organisation?
