Middle East roadmap back on track?

The Mid-East quartet, (The UN, US, Russia and EU), have agreed to a international conference in November to try and put the delayed roadmap to peace into action. Ten countries of the Middle East including Syria, provided, as US secretary Condaleeza Rice demands, they renounce violence, will be invited.

Egypt and Jordan are the only countries to have signed a peace treaty with Israel, Syria still has a territorial dispute with Israel and is still technically at war.
